The Dope Show

22 year-old Flint artist Vice Carter grew up honing his craft by studying the greats, in particular, the late-great Tupac Shakur.

So in honor of the 19th anniversary of the legend’s passing, Vice dropped #LesanesDedicationVol1: A Tribute From Vice Carter, an 8-track mixtape of his rhymes over some of Pac’s most prominent instrumentals.

Aside from a dope beat selection, Vice addresses critical issues such as racial police brutality (Dead Niggas On The Wall”), biases in Hip-Hop (“Runnin”), and love/hate relationships (“Do For Love”).

Overall, #LesanesDedication is a solid, well-rounded tribute that also highlights Vice Carter’s style and dedication as an artist.

Check it out and make sure to support the new generation of rappers who acknowledge the vets while making waves for themselves.
