The Dope Show

Today marks the release of Detroit artist Jahshua Smith‘s sophomore album, The Fourth Wall, which expands on his 2013 CMJ Hip-Hop chart topping album, The Final Season.

On The Fourth Wall, The Blat! Pack affiliate navigates through a fictional sketch-based TV show as the lead character as he becomes more aware of his role in the universe and begins to identify the fourth wall.

The album touches on themes of black power, personal relationships, religion, and urban issues over stellar production from StewRAT and KuroiOto.

Features from Red Pill, James Gardin, Yellokake, Mic Write, Nolan the Ninja, Adam Reverie and PhourTheLove adds to Jahshua’s vision of breaking through the fourth wall and separating reality from perception.
