The Dope Show

Rising Portland emcee Mic Capes drops his long-awaited album Concrete Dreams after four years of preparation and garnering a buzz.

The 19-track project explores critical topics of police brutality, gang violence, and aspirations of making it out of the neighborhood.

A highlight on Concrete Dreams is “Black Pearls” which is an ode to the strong black woman, drawing inspiration from Mic’s own relationship.
